It's that time of year again - I'm on the ballot for the 12th AD San Francisco Democratic County Central Committee. If you live on the west side of San Francisco (Sunset, Richmond, Park Merced, Excelsior, West Portal, etc.), get to your polling station flip over to the last page, and in the second column, a few names down, you should see Jason Wong. Strike through the appropriate area, and give me a boost.
If you happen to be stumbling across my blog for the first time, I'm a party activist, and have been working with the Democratic Party for over 5 years. I organized volunteers for Get Out the Vote activities in the 2004 presidential election, volunteered on Gavin Newsom's campaign, and am president of the Asian Pacific Democratic club, registering Asian voters, educating them on issues. Finally, I am very proud to be State Assemblywoman Fiona Ma's representative on the Democratic County Central Committee. That means I've been as close to being a member as you can be without actually being elected, and that experience is invaluable.
