How Angelides can beat Schwarzenegger (repost)

Is it wrong to still be a pessimist on this race? The Democrats stopped him cold on 73-77 and Schwarzenegger’s approvals are still in the low 30’s. What gets me down about this is that the Angelides-Westly polls swung 15 points from TV ADS, and Schwarzenegger owns the pulpit. I’ll need to see Schwarzenegger get nailed a couple times hard before I feel like the aura of invincibility has worn off.

    I have already asked Channel three KC RA to start grading the negative ads that are being put out by the Schwarzenegger campaign or any campaign for that matter sooner rather than later. If responsible TV journalism is to be graded itself it should in great part be done by how the television stations cover the gubernatorial and other main electoral candidates a And propositions. I urge you and other people to lean on all television stations to start doing this at the beginning of the election rather than at the end of the election because at the end people have already made up their mind from the stupid little 15 second sound bites.
